Rudy Gaskins

Rudy Gaskins is an Emmy-winning producer CEO and the Executive Creative Director of Push Creative, Inc., a full-service branding agency providing strategic marketing, graphic design and video/film production. The company also  provides voiceover training and media training for on-camera presentations. Recently, he celebrated a huge win after providing media training for Miss New York, on her way to being crowned the new Miss America 2013. Rudy is also developing branding and mobile applications for the Tribeca Film Festival and planning the fifth annual That’s Voiceover event in Los Angles and the UK.  Other clients include  Lexus,  FOX News
Channel, BET, American Express, Spike TV, ABC Television, Actors Federal Credit Union, History
Channel, MSNBC, and NBC Sports.  Drawing on his  former  experience as  a filmmaker and
writer/producer/director for PBS, Gaskins has expanded Push Creative’s production scope to
include program development and is actively developing TV and web series in several genres.

He serves as President and CEO of The Society of Voice Arts and Sciences™ along with the creation of the Voice Arts™ Awards and the 5th annual production of That’s Voiceover!™. The other 30% of my time is devoted to managing marketing accounts with Tribeca Film Festival, American Express, and several boutique firms and several individuals. For sanity, he’s currently training for his black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

During the Interview We Discuss:

  • The Power of Thinking Big
  • What An Award Can Do For You and Your Business
  • Why There’s an Entry Fee
  • Playing in a bigger “field”
  • Mindset for Success
  • And Much more

I’m Hosting a Webinar with VoiceOverXtra.com!

How To INCREASE Your Rates and WHY You NEED to Increase Them AND… How to Get Paid in Advance of Doing the Work – Or At Least Get a Hefty Deposit

John Florian has graciously invited me to conduct a webinar for VoiceOverXtra.com. It’s on July 9th.

You’ll Get A Full recording of the webinar – both audio and video!

Only $49. – It’s less than what you’d spend on take-out and what I’m going to share with you is worth many times that investment.

I’m really excited to share some information with you that changed FOREVER:

  • The way I look at the income I earn,
  • How I spend my resources and
  • How I value my time.

I must admit, the first time someone shared with me the information I’m going to cover in the webinar, I was a bit frustrated and candidly, angry that no one had shared this with me before.

You may feel the same way when I share it with you

But I knew it made total sense and I’m sure once you see it, you will think so too.

It showed me that I needed to differentiate myself in the marketplace of the services I provide and compete in ways other than simply having the “Best prices.” {Best for whom?}

This was very insightful. I learned so much about thinking positive as a way of living as opposed to a way of just trying to get a result. I will submit to the awards show for sure, where as before I thought I should wait until I’m good enough. Now I’m thinking I’m already good enough and I’ll enter again when I’m even better. Thank you.

AMEN. I’d like to specifically comment on something- Winning. Winning is the goal, but you have to suit up and play every time like a champion. It’s being there- it’s being competitive with the best at whatever level you are. If you are competitive, you have a chance to win whatever it is. If you aren’t’ you have exactly zero chance. Thanks Rudy, you nailed it.
